NEED vs WANT

In the Dictionary the definitions to Want is.....To desire; wish; long for..
Need: A condition requiring supply or relief; urgent exigency.
Now to the reason of this comparison.... There is a Beautiful house just about 15 miles south of us.
We actually have gone to the home and walked through it... walked all around it. Imagining what
life would be like living in this wonderful home. This house was originally built in the early 1800's.
The builder and his family are buried on the property. This does not bother us at all. Infact we
find it rather sweet and endures the home to us even more. One lady who was born in the house, her son tore the house down to the foundation and used all original pieces that he could save to rebuild it to what it is today.
To say that we love the home would almost be a understatement!!

But then comes to want verses NEED.
We live in a home that is only 8 years old. In a neighborhood and is VERY NICE.
We are comfortable. We do not NEED this other home. We only WANT the other home.
With the real estate market the way it is... is the WANT worth it??
Why is it when you WANT it seems so much like a NEED...
I have always tried to remember the saying..BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED...
Boy how I would love to bloom at 6708 Whaleyville Blvd.

The house is beautiful! With such a wonderful history. I think the house you're in now is beautiful too! And thank you for explaining the difference between wanting and needing!
