She is now coming out of the pasture second. Bonnie is finding her groove.
Working with Mary has been wonderful. Bonnie has learned to trust and actually like being with her 'people'. She is still sore on the right side and we are working on stretches to help. Last week we had the farrier out and she was a pro... Bonnie that is.
Then the vet came out to give her her fall shots. Bonnie did not even flinch. She was great! Then she had her teeth floated. The girl is not a cheap date, let me tell you! 2 doses of the regular drugs to make her loopy... then a healthy dose of a morphine type drug finally did the trick and she was happily in LALA Land for the teeth floating.
She now greets us when we arrive and stays right with us the entire time. She is even now nice enough to let her weird people kiss her... I am sure she thinks it is odd but if it makes her people happy then she puts up with it.
There should be Jack Russell puppies at our house around the 2nd week in November.... Hopefully they will all get GOOD homes! I am sure I will post pictures when that happens...
Other than that life is normal as normal as it ever is around here.
Till next time.......
