Happy New year!

Wow, I guess I have been rather busy... Why else would I not blog?
Thanks to all who check to see if just maybe I have blogged lately....LOL
All is well here, Kids are doing great. Jordan and Candice went to Cali to
visit Jordans Dad and family there. They had fun and OF COURSE everyone
in Cali adored Candice!! I KNEW they would...HEEHEE.
Aubrey also went for her Chirstmas visit. She had a nice time but missed her horse.
Emily is flying home on January 30th. She will stay here and work and then have
the baby. Chris is to deploy about 1 month after Evie is to be born so they decided
it was best for her to be home when Evie is born. OF COURSE the Grammies and
Gampies TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!!! As does Uncle Jordan and Auntie Candice!!!!!!!
Do ya think this baby will be SPOILED??????? LOL!!!! You Betcha!!!!
On the horse front. We moved Bonnie out of the place she was boarding at.
That was the best thing that we could have done for her! When we purchased her
the man said all these wonderful things about this horse that we did not see at all.
She was NOTHING that he said she was. ONCE we moved her to the new barn
that old *itchy horse was gone! She is now very relaxed, calm and personable.
By the second day Aubrey and I were wondering where our horse was because this horse
was so very different.
Now you must still understand that she is a MARE and she can be moody and have a off
day, but those are few and far between. We are still not riding her yet because she is still
a bit lame. I don't agree with the vets opinion on her leg. but we shall see.
We have been at the new barn for over a month and enjoy it very much! It is a hands on
barn and we ALL take turns with the horses in feeding and turning them out. So that means
we are getting to know other horses and their personalities. It is teaching us so much about
the world of horses. At the barn there are 2 Thoroughbreds. 1 Arabian,2 PMU's 3 Quarter horses,
1 welsh ponie and a Belgian. What a fun group. One of the Quarter horses is going to be 39 years old this spring. He is a doll and alot of fun!
Well I guess that is our news. Hope everyone has a GREAT New Year.
